Who owns a lot of money, also shows that he is doing well. For this reason, not only cars are sold for the price of family homes, but also luxury yachts in the millions. They are something like a status symbol that one has made it in life, besides one also opens "doors" to other rich people. Mutually one invites itself and locks so some lucrative business. Of course, it is also fun to be on the water with such a "hotel". For example, there are many nice leisure activities from the luxury yacht such as deep-sea fishing, diving, jet-skiing or water skiing, exploring small bays with the rubber dinghy, ...
Women of course also play a big role when buying luxury yachts, because with a yacht you attract women as a successful man like honey attracts bees. The larger and more luxurious the luxury yacht, the greater the attraction. (more information on https://luxus-luchs.de/fun/)
Often the yacht is also simply a change from the stressful job, a retreat where you can gather new strength. You can hardly be more secluded than alone on the high seas, free from the annoying press, envious people, etc. On the other hand, sometimes you can achieve the exact opposite, i.e. by buying an exclusive luxury yacht you can be the talk of the town again and attract attention. Such magnificent ships are always an eye-catcher in the harbor. However, there are differences.
With a new luxury yacht, there are big differences.
Actually, it is a matter of opinion from when one calls a yacht a luxury yacht. For "normal" citizens even a 100.000 Euro ship can be a luxury yacht. That is why we define all yachts as luxury yachts. More correct would be the classification for ships from a length of 24 meters upwards. A classification could look something like this.
10 - 17 meters = yacht
30 - 60 meters = Superyacht
60 - 100 meters = mega yacht
over 100 meters = gigayacht
So there is no minimum length for luxury yachts, rather it is a relatively free designation for the size, noble design, and high-quality equipment of a ship. Starting from a superyacht, one can expect costs of almost 800,000 euros per length meter, depending on the equipment. A 50-meter superyacht would therefore have to have a price tag of just under 40 million euros. That's a hefty price tag, but it's usually a special design. But it can also be done much cheaper.
